Changelog
A classification in review now has its own release step on the Passage item page.
With four-eyes on, a code entered in the item editor on a DRAFT becomes REQUIRES_REVIEW; a second person releases it. A release is a confirmation inside Passage, not an export licence. Software is not legal advice.
#From review to classified
The release step sits on the item page while the classification is in review. Before the click it names what still stands in the way, such as the four-eyes principle. The click asks once more and takes an optional note. Your name, the time, and the note go into the audit trail.
#Four-eyes, or a visible stamp
With four-eyes on, the person who set the code cannot release it. With four-eyes off, you can release your own classification alone, and the release carries the stamp “single-approver, org setting”. Four-eyes off is a product setting, not legal advice.
