Atlas Research
How a research run works
You ask a legal question and set a key date for the law that applies.

Atlas proposes. You decide.
Atlas
- Plans the research and shows the plan
- Searches the catalogue, official portals and the web
- Shows the passage behind each citation
- Names documented readings and carrying practice
- Drafts, and marks what has no citation
You
- Approve, change or stop the plan
- Decide which reading carries
- Sign, send and file
- Stay responsible for the advice
Atlas does not decide which reading is legally right. Software is not legal advice.

Caelex Atlas — questions counsel ask
- What is Caelex Atlas?
- Caelex Atlas is the workspace for space-law counsel: research runs with a plan you approve and a memo with footnotes, a vault with review tables, projects with agents (Early Beta) and a curated space-law corpus. Atlas assists, drafts and proposes; counsel decides. Software is not legal advice.
- What does Atlas Research check?
- Atlas Research compares each cited statement with the passage it read and marks what is not or only partly carried, or has no citation. Only statements with a citation are checked. On a watched run, Atlas marks cited catalogue sources whose text changed later; web pages are not watched. Atlas names documented readings; counsel decides which one carries. Software is not legal advice.
- What is a review table in the Atlas Vault?
- A review table asks every document in a matter the same questions. Each answer comes with a quote, and Atlas checks whether the quote stands in the document verbatim, close, or not at all. The check does not say the reading is right.
- How does Atlas handle new official publications?
- A daily run checks the stored sources in rotation for changes and reports them. New official publications from the UK, Germany, the US and the EU are detected daily and reported; they enter Atlas only after editorial review. France and the UN are not part of that watch.
- How is Caelex Atlas different from a statute database?
- Atlas runs the practice around the matter: context, deadlines, vault, and work product inventory — not only browse. Research surfaces cite primary sources; counsel remains responsible for judgment and filings.
- Is Caelex Atlas the German customs ATLAS system, or Cleo Atlas?
- No. Caelex Atlas is counsel software for space-law practice from Caelex in Berlin. It is not the German customs ATLAS clearance system and not Cleo Atlas trade software.
- Is Caelex Atlas an AI law firm?
- No. Atlas is decision-support software. It does not replace a lawyer, give legal advice, or file for you. Lawyers remain responsible for judgment, filings, and client advice. AI outputs require human review.
- How is Caelex Atlas different from Caelex Comply?
- Comply is the operator regulatory command surface. Atlas is the counsel practice workspace — mandates, corpus, drafting, and vault. Same company, different seat.
- How do firms get access?
- Book a free 30-minute intro at caelex.eu/atlas-access. Provisioning is sales-assisted. Existing users sign in at caelex.eu/atlas-login. Product overview: caelex.eu/atlas-product.
- Does Caelex Atlas claim EU AI Act certification?
- No. Caelex does not claim AI Act certification or regulator approval. Working classifications and disclosures are product documentation, not a certificate.

Screening-level product copy — not legal advice. AI output in the product requires human review. Access requires organisation membership and ProductCode.ATLAS (trial or paid). The EU Space Act (COM(2025) 335) is a proposal, not yet in force. Caelex Atlas is not the German customs ATLAS system and not Cleo Atlas.
