- What is Caelex Passage?
- Passage is export-control software for space and defence suppliers: classify items, screen counterparties, track licence gates, and prepare authority-ready filings — so your export officer stays in control. Software is not legal advice and does not submit filings for you.
- Is Passage legal advice or an export clearance?
- No. Passage is software. It does not replace counsel, does not grant a licence, and does not file at BAFA or any other authority. The export officer stays in control.
- Which control lists does Passage cover?
- ITAR, EAR, the EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821, and national munitions lists (e.g. DE Ausfuhrliste), with screening and licence workflows designed for European seats and multi-regime operations.
- Can incomplete data produce a clearance?
- No. Gaps, unanswered declarations, and empty screenings escalate to review — the system is designed so incomplete inputs never look like a green clearance.
- How is Passage different from RespectUs?
- RespectUs is a Luxembourg export-control SaaS with a stronger third-party footprint (LSA directory; publicly reported ESA validation in 2023).
