Acceptable Use Policy

Section 1 Principle

The platform may be used solely for its intended purpose — to support regulatory compliance in the space sector — and in compliance with applicable law.

Section 2 Prohibited content

The customer shall ensure that it does not introduce content that:

• is unlawful, criminal, defamatory, insulting, discriminatory, glorifies violence, or is harmful to minors
• infringes third-party rights (copyright, trade marks, trade secrets, personality rights)
• contains malware, malicious code or exploits
• contains personal data for the processing of which there is no legal basis
• contains special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) without a separate agreement
• contains export-controlled technical information without the required authorisation (see Terms § 23)
• contains misleading or fraudulent representations

Section 3 Prohibited patterns of use

• Scraping, systematic extraction or automated collection of data outside the provided API
• Reverse engineering, decompilation or derivation of internal functioning
• Use to train the customer's or a third party's AI models
• Circumvention of rate limits, authentication or access controls
• Competitive use to develop competing products
• Load testing, penetration testing or security assessments without prior written consent (security@caelex.eu)
• Spam, chain letters or mass unsolicited communication
• Use by more users or organisations than contractually agreed

Section 4 Reporting abuse

Please report abuse and infringing content to abuse@caelex.eu with a comprehensible description and, where possible, a URL or content ID. We review reports promptly and act in accordance with DSA Art. 16 (notice-and-action).

Section 5 Consequences

In the event of breach we reserve the right: (a) to remove or block content, (b) to suspend the account temporarily or permanently, (c) to terminate the contract for cause, (d) to claim damages and injunctive relief, (e) in the case of criminal offences, to involve investigating authorities.

Section 6 Security research

Security researchers are expressly invited to report vulnerabilities. A coordinated vulnerability disclosure process applies. Please report to security@caelex.eu; see also /.well-known/security.txt.
